The powerful tester offers such test functions as upstream and downstream rate measurements, error counts, digital multi meter (DMM) test functions, modem simulation, and ping and trace testing. It also tests subscriber telephone connectivity and line parameters. The tester’s compact size, rugged design, simple operation and practical functions make it an ideal solution for ADSL technicians and engineers.

This innovative ADSL 2+ tester, model 2048, offers auto-off function, various voice alerts and LED indications as well as an integrated website browser. It supports testing on ADSL 2+ (G.992.5), ADSL 2 (G.992.3), RE-ADSL (Annex L), Double Upstream (Annex M) and is downward compatible with ADSL (G.DMT, G.Lite, T1.43) line standards. The ADSL2+ tester operates under the Windows? CE platform. It has a maximum transmission distance of 6.5km and carries out measurement immediately with a simple push of the “Auto Test” key. Test results are uploaded, saved and printed through the embedded Test Manager Pro Software which is upgradable via an Ethernet or USB interface.
