Toronto, Canada – GAO Comm has released its all-digital fiber optic transceiver module using 10-bit/20MHz sampling technology for video digital encoding. The fiber optic digital video transceiver module is designed to support transmission of four-way video over one optical fiber. It is available in either stand-alone or rack mount card version.
The digital video transceiver module, model GFS116, is compatible with NTSC, PAL and SECAM video formats. Its hot-pluggable design and a wide dynamic range provide for convenient installation, maintenance and operation in closed-circuit TV (CCTV) monitoring systems. This digital video transceiver allows proper system operation in complex electromagnetic environments and requires no electrical or optical adjustments in field operations. The optical, high-speed synchronous transmission channel ensures the quality of the video signal. In addition, this transceiver has BNC video connection, ST optical connection and DB9 data connection.
