Portable Data Transmission Analyzer Features Multi-Task Operation

Toronto, Canada – GAO Comm is offering its portable data transmission analyzer for measuring the error rate of data communication and for the analysis of line faults and their causes for the routine maintenance testing of 2M systems, N×64 k communication channels. This data transmission analyzer, model A0040006, features a portable handheld design with lanyard, auto configuration and easy operation. It performs online error code testing, 2 MB/s non-framing error code performance testing, 2 MB/s framing N×64 kbit/s channel error code performance testing, alarm testing of signal loss, frequency offset testing, signal level and frequency testing of voice channels, audio frequency testing, loop circuit time lag testing and automatic protection switching time testing (APS). The analyzer also conducts column diagram analysis of alarms and error codes, time slot content analysis, jitter testing and G.821/G.826/M.2100 error code performance analysis.

The analyzer’s multi-task operation allows users to simultaneously conduct tests and browse previous results. As many as 9 test settings and 20 groups of test results can be stored. It communicates with a computer for test data storage and analysis and can be directly connected to a micro printer. In addition, its 4000 mAh, 6 V nickel-hydrogen rechargeable battery allows for more than 8 hours of continuous operation.

CATV Analyzer Features Unique Interference Immunity Design

This CATV analyzer, model A0N00017, operates over a wide frequency range of 5 to 870 MHz with a frequency step of 10 kHz. E1/Ethernet Tester for Ethernet Link Maintenance and Failure Diagnosis

Network Fault can be Easily Diagnosed with the Digital Signal Level Meter

Toronto, Canada – GAO Comm has announced the release of its digital signal level meter which is intended for analog and digital television network construction and maintenance. It offers spectrum and channel scanning functions allowing quick diagnosis and analysis of network faults.

This rugged handheld digital signal level meter, model A0N00010, operates over a wide frequency range of 5 to 870 MHz. It performs measurements of digital-analog-mixed networks and accurately measures the average power of DVB-C digital signals, as well as, frequency power levels. It is also capable of conducting Tilt, C/N, voltage, MER, BER (bit error rate) and V /A tests. The signal level meter provides a bandwidth of 0.28 to 9.99 MHz and a signal level measurement range of 30 to 120 dBμV at a level precision of ±1.5 dB.
