Easy-to-Operate E1/Ethernet Tester

Toronto, Canada – GAO Comm has announced the release of this easy-to-operate E1/Ethernet tester. It is a comprehensive test tool for E1, V port and Gigabit Ethernet link maintenance and failure diagnosis. It conducts 50 b/s to 2048 kb/s error testing and tests over multiple V ports.

This portable E1/Ethernet tester, model A0050004, performs cable tests, traffic error code tests, connectivity performance tests, RFC2544 performance tests and PPPoE functions and traffic testing, FTP download, terminal emulation and Web browsing. This easy-to-operate tester also provides a large amount of Ethernet diagnosis tools such as PING, trace route, port positioning tool and loop back tool. High-Performance QAM Analyzer

Toronto, Canada – GAO Comm has announced the release of its high-performance QAM analyzer for DVB signal analysis. It is used for both analog and digital TV analysis and is commonly used to measure QAM digital channels, analog channels and FM channels.

This compact QAM analyzer, model A0N00014, operates over a wide frequency range of 5 to 870 MHz at an accuracy of ±10 ppm. It has digital signal analysis functions for MER, BER and constellation diagrams for 16/32/64/128/256QAM/QPSK modulation types. Analog channel analysis includes LEVEL, TILT, and C/N. It also has a spectrum analysis function making network system testing easy and efficient and other functions include both limit and auto testing. In frequency mode, the peak holding function permits the detection of occasional interference. The analyzer uses a built-in COM port for simple data communications and storage. It has easy to update software and fully complies with ITU-T J.83 Annex A/B/C standards. It is able to operate continuously for more than 6 hours when fully charged.

Digital Signal Level Meter

Toronto, Canada – GAO Comm has announced the release of its digital signal level meter which is intended for analog and digital television network construction and maintenance. It boasts spectrum and channel scanning functions and can quickly diagnose and analyze network faults.

This handheld digital signal level meter, model 1130D, operates over a wide frequency range of 5 to 870 MHz. It features a handheld design, high accuracy and automatic channel power. It conducts measurements of digital-analog-mixed networks and also performs Tilt, C/N, voltage, MER, BER and V /A tests. This digital meter accurately measures the average power of DVB-C digital signals, as well as, frequency power levels. It provides a bandwidth of 0.28 to 9.99 MHz and a signal level measurement range of 30 to 120 dBμV at a level precision of ±1.5 dB. This digital signal level meter is able to analyze QAM 32 64 128 256/ITU-TJ.83 Annex A/B/C modulated signals and provides a spectrum analysis span of 6.25, 12.5, 25 and 62.5 MHz. PC software and constellation diagram display are also provided. This meter communicates with a computer via USB and RS232 interfaces.
