Intelligent Handheld Power Meter

Toronto, Canada – GAO Comm has announced the release of its multi-functional handheld power meter, an essential instrument for absolute power and relative loss measurement of fiber optic cables. The economical power meter is widely used in telecommunications and CATV maintenance and fiber optics test labs. It features highly accurate test results, automatic identification of frequencies, and efficient data storage.

This multi-functional handheld power meter, model 5302, tests optical power within a wavelength range of 800nm to 1650nm and displays test results on its large, high display resolution LCD screen. It also offers pre-calibrated wavelengths including 850,980,1300,1310,1490 and 1550nm for selection. The meter supports an optical power measurement range from -70dBm to 6dBm and an identification frequency range of 10Hz to 60kHz. It consumes little power due to its auto-off function and has a quick response time without requiring warm-up. The meter is equipped with an RS232 communication port for data exchange. ?t is resistant to dust and water, which makes it suitable for field use.

Portable CATV Analyzer for Digital/Analog TV Transmission Networks

Toronto, Canada – GAO Comm has announced the release of its CATV analyzer for both digital and analog TV transmission networks. It is commonly used to test analog TV indexes and channels, digital channel power, analog TV images, digital TV QAM modulation channel power, and MER and BER modulation using special circuitry. This analyzer is also suitable for digital and analog mixed network testing and two-way network construction and transformation. This compact CATV analyzer, model 883B, operates over a wide frequency range of 5MHz to 870MHz at an accuracy of ±10ppm. Ethernet Analyzer Packed with Rich Features
