It tests digital channels and supports multi-task operation and auto-configuration. This handheld datacom transmission analyzer has multiple measurement functions including service-interrupt error testing, online error testing and 2Mbit/s unframed error performance testing. It also tests bit error, coding error, frame error, CRC error and E1 bit error.

GAO Comm’s 2M E1 /datacom transmission analyzer, model 4300D, performs frequency offset testing, line signal level and frequency testing, automatic protection switching, time testing and pattern slip testing. The advanced analyzer is equipped with a large backlight LCD screen and features extensive error alarms and histogram analysis of test results. It stores 20 test results and 9 test configurations. Test results can be downloaded to a PC for backup, further analysis and printing. Its embedded software is upgradable. These features make the datacom transmission analyzer an invaluable tool for field testing.

E1/Datacom Tester with Real-Time Clock

Toronto, Canada – GAO Comm has announced the release of its E1/Datacom tester featuring a rugged, handheld design, a high definition backlit LCD screen, simple operation and real-time clock. The tester conducts channel tests, alarm analysis, signal analysis and fault location. It also performs E1 BER testing, Datacom testing, G.703 CO testing and protocol converter testing. This tester is specially designed for the installation, acceptance testing and daily maintenance of digital networks. This tester runs under Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP and NT operating systems.

This portable E1/Datacom tester, model 5854, provides various protocol converters with one-way and bi-directional bit-error-rate (BER) test function. It offers such functions as in-service framed and unframed testing, CAS and CCS signaling generation and monitoring, extensive error and alarm generation, detection and indication. The tester saves and recalls ten user-defined setups and ten sets of results which can be uploaded and printed via Test Manager Software. Its embedded software can be upgraded via an integrated RS232 interface. It works continuously for up to six hours on a single charge with built-in rechargeable batteries and can be charged via a battery adapter.

Portable ADSL 2+ Tester Performs PPPoE Dialing

Digital Signal Level Meter with Optional Constellation Diagrams

Digital Video Transceiver Module Ideal for CCTV Monitoring Systems

Handheld Gigabit Ethernet Tester

Adaptive Ethernet Fiber Converter Supports Two Transmission Modes

Toronto, Canada – GAO Comm recommends its adaptive Ethernet fiber converter which is designed for long-distance transmission networks of 10/100Mbps fast Ethernet. Using switching technology and storing and forwarding technology, the converter carries out mutual conversion between 10Base-T/100Base-TX pair electrical signals and 100Base-FX optical signals. This converter supports full-duplex and half-duplex transmission modes as well as multiple types of fiber ports such as dual-fiber multi-mode, dual-fiber single-mode and single-fiber single-mode. The fast Ethernet fiber converter, model MB610A, can extend the transmission distance of a network from 100m to 120km over copper wire. It allows the transmission of extra-long packets with a maximum length of 1552 bytes. This energy-saving converter supports Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) to form a redundant network and enables automatic crossing of twisted pair ports for the convenience of system debugging and installation. The Ethernet media converter has a built-in switching core to perform flow control and reduce broadcast packets.
